Walkthrough

Step 1

Severed Paw - Drops from Vin Moltor in Qeynos Catacombs, (so either kill him (he doesnt drop the paw every time) or) you can also give him 3 bottles of Khalish and a rat meat pie and he will give you the paw.

To get to him enter Qeynos Catacombs trough the Fake Wall in North Qeynos (east of the gate), inside go straight ahead, stay where the way turns left and right. Kill everything that roams there until Vin spawns. He spawns like about every 10 minutes. I had to kill him 3 times until he dropped the Severed Paw. He is level 24; easy soloable for a 31 Druid.

Step 2

Platinum Ring - Drops from Gynok Moltor at the Entrance of Befallen. (loc -77, -44, +3)

The reason you want to get the Platinum ring second is because there is a chance you will get the Gold ring off of Gynok Moltor (he has a chance to drop all 4 rings, but platinum is the most common drop).

Gynok is lvl 24-25. VERY rare spawn. His PH can be a iceboned, putrid rat, large skeleton, large rat, or ghoul. Respawn is 16 minutes. The PH spawns right near zone and paths though the locked door down to lower levels of the dungeon and back. It usually takes a lot of time to get him (10h+ of camping).

Step 3

Fungus Mutant Location

Then collect the following items:

There is a chance you have gotten some or all of these while camping Gynok for the platinum ring.

• Copper Ring - Kill a Fungus Mutant in upper guk loot a Bracket Mildew and trade it to Melixis at Kerra Isle, she will give you the Copper ring.

• Silver Ring - Obtain from the ground of the lake in Blackburrow. Enter Blackburrow run straight jump into the lake and swim to the ground. Or turn in Faerix Spores that drop off Fungus Mutant to Melixis at Kerra Isle for Silver Ring.

• Gold Ring - Kill a Fungus Mutant in upper guk loot degenerated guk weed and trade it to Melixis at Kerra Isle, she will give you the Gold ring. The weed is a rare drop it took me 8 kills to get it. At 18 min between spawns thats about 2.5 hours. It could take a lot longer.

Fungus Mutant is lvl 23-25 in upper guk, he is a druid. The camp is solo able for a lvl 31 Druid. He has no PH and spawns about every 18 mins. Do the following to break the camp to stagger the spawns, you should be level 29+ to solo this.

1 Bind outside Guk
2 In the Fungus room go up the ladder and wait for the roamer mushroom to come up to it. Kill the roamer and med up.
3 Stand by the ladder and root the add to the right of the Fungus Mutant.
4 Pull the Fungus mutant out of line of sight of the add (if its a caster). You can bring him up the ladder.
5 Burn down the Fungus Mutant and Gate
6 Run back and kill the add. You should now have staggered spawns. It is fairly safe to sit and meditate by the ladder, but try to invis/hide before sitting down.

Typical drop pattern (making Weed the rarest): Spores, Mildew, Mildew, Mildew, Spores, Mildew, Mildew, Weed.
So the drop rate appears to be as follows:
Mildew ~ 60%
Spores ~ 25%
Weed ~ 15%

Step 4

Put the 4 rings into the Severed Paw and Combine. Enjoy your Paw of Opolla
