Kill 'an undead rat' in the Paineel newbie zone to get four livers. Pack rats are the placeholders for the undead rat.

Atdehim Sqonci

Talk to Atdehim Sqonci. He wants you to:

Return a kerran doll, a wooly spider ichor, a medium cat pelt and a giant snake fang.

• The Kerran Doll is easiest to get from Lomarc, a level 3 rogue in South Qeynos, standing near the water at the dock where the boat does NOT arrive.
• The Giant Snake Fang is easy to get from any large snake, commonly found in EC, Toxx and many other places.
• The medium cat pelt is easily found on most merchants in EC or by killing any lion/puma/etc. (Note that he asks for a medium cat pelt where on live he asks for your Initiate Symbol)
• The ichor only drops from giant wooly spiders in Everfrost Peaks, and can sometimes be found on the vendors at the entrance tunnel to Halas.

NOTE: The quest is currently broken and gives you ringmail sleeves. It should give you the disciple symbol!

Walkthrough

You say, 'Hail, Sern Adolia'

Sern Adolia says 'I hope you have a good reason for disturbing my contemplations. Perhaps you [seek the knowledge] of those who meditate within this Temple of Fear?'

You say, 'I seek knowledge.'

Sern Adolia says 'It is the secrets of Fear you seek, but first you must prove your devotion to our temple. There are pack rats within the city that have a habit of getting into things. Some of these rats have ingested a concoction developed by the necromancers of this great city. The rats have since died and, due to the concoction, their undead corpses now roam the fields. Bring me four livers from these undead rats so that we may examine them.'

Sern Adolia says 'Well done, go now and continue your contemplations of fear. Keep up with your [duties] and you will soon be reaping the rewards granted by our Lord Cazic-Thule!!'

Atdehim Sqonci says, 'So you wish to learn, eh? I am working on a ritual to strike fear into the hearts of the other inhabitants of Odus. The reagents I require for this ritual are the doll of a Kerran priestess, the ichor of a giant wooly spider, a medium quality cat pelt, and a giant snake fang with which to carve my glyphs. Fetch me these components and we shall infect this land with fear.'

Atdehim Sqonci says, 'Ahh! This shall greatly assist me in completing the ritual! Our Lord thanks you and gives you this gift to help you spread fear across this land.'
