Spoiler Alert

Heads up. This cheat sheet is the equivalent of the FIND button in retail EverQuest therefore this cheat sheet is NOT classic. FYI, players moved to P99 to escape non-classic gameplay features such as the FIND button. If you wish to play EverQuest using a satnav system which tells you where to go and what to do (non-classic gameplay) the recommendation is to play retail rather than P99. If you wish to play classic how it's meant to be played it's recommended you avoid reading this cheat sheet altogether as it stops you from thinking for yourself and is a major spoiler. You only play EQ for the first time once, do you really want to ruin that unique experience by being told where to go and what to do instead of learning the ropes yourself? The choice is yours to make but it's important to note that this guide can steal something from you you can't replace.

You are NOT obligated to read this cheat sheet. This cheat sheet is neither classic, official or necessary to play EverQuest on P99.

Asking fellow players in-game for advice IS classic though as is discovering things for yourself and creating your own adventure.

Please also be aware, the content in this cheat sheet was stolen just like the game itself was.

End of spoiler alert.

Cheat Sheet

Now with ____ ways to earn treasure. For places to earn experience see the Per-Level Hunting Guide.

See also: Vendor Junk for a list of good merchant sellable items.

The guide offers a list of places to hunt to earn platinum and valuable items. If you have anything to add or correct please edit this page (it's a wiki) to help make it better for everyone!

Quick Tip: In terms of efficiency it's better (especially for casters) to focus on leveling more and gear less. You can still level with poor gear, but you can't earn nearly as much plat at low levels as you can at higher levels.

Using the Guide

  • Min Level: The minimum level that a character could solo the content
  • Zone: The zone or zones where the treasure can be found
  • Area: The specific location within the zone to hunt, with (wiki) map numbers when possible
  • Monster(s): The creature or creatures to kill
  • Loot: The item of value, with an approximation of it's value
  • Price Check: Click on the "$$$" in this column (or "stack" for items which sell by the stack) to get the 30-day/90-day/all-time average prices for that item
  • Classes: Every class can do every hunting spot, but classes which are known for soloing a particular treasure are included here. If you aren't familiar with the class symbols hover your mouse over them.
  • Notes: Any further information about the treasure hunting spot

Improving the Guide

This is a wiki, so please feel free to add new entries or correct existing ones! This page does not use templates (and can't, because templates break the "mouse over item description" feature), so just copy the HTML code from an existing entry and replace it's values to create a new entry.
