Category:Significant Factions
While EverQuest has many factions, only a much smaller number actually give some meaningful in-game benefit (beyond simply affecting which mobs attack you). This category distinguishes those factions.

City Faction Summaries
All of the factions in this section are for city guards. Many of these factions also have quests associated with them.
Many cities have other dangerous NPCs which are not on their guard faction, so gaining (only) the factions below does not guarantee safe travel through all parts of its related city.
Odus Cities
Odus only has two main cities, Erudin (High Guard of Erudin) and Paineel (Heretics). Both of these factions can be raised by killing kobolds in The Warrens.
Antonica Cities (Evil)
The Dark Elf city of Neriak has two guard factions: Dreadguard Inner and Dreadguard Outer. Both these and the Dark Bargainers faction (which the NPC who sells

Kunark Cities
Kunark has two cities. The primary faction of the "good" city, Firiona Vie is Inhabitants of Firiona Vie.
